In a recent post on this blog we suggested it was right to trust our PM, Boris Johnson, on not just Brexit but more besides. We should remember that the Brexit referendum was the biggest democratic event in our history. Also that all political parties not only agreed to honour the result but voted in the House of Commons for this to happen. But then the backsliding began. Boris Johnson took over as PM at a very late stage in proceedings and we were told he would never succeed in putting things right.
