We take this opportunity to thank all the candidates across the UK who stood on behalf of the party at the elections. However, as we said in our last post on this blog there is an old saying: ‘all politics is local’. And the good news is that Darius Sandhu won at Oscott. It was a convincing win too. If you add all of the votes for all of the other candidates, and there were five of them, the total is 1659 votes. But Darius polled 1981 votes. This represents a huge opportunity for Darius to work for Oscott and we know he will do well.
